Education work

Marylebone Trio concert at Kilkhampton School, courtesy of Bude Music Society 2012

The trio has a wide range of experience of education work; from concerts to introduce the instruments to primary-age children through to working with specialist musicians at a performing arts college. The trio has also run its own successful chamber music course in Shropshire for several years, working with both children and adults, and worked with chamber groups in schools. With two of the three instruments on the ‘endangered species’ list, we feel it is more important than ever to take our music out into schools to encourage the performers and audiences of the future. If you run an education, coaching or outreach programme, please talk to us to find out how we can fit in to this. All three players have been DBS (previously known as CRB) checked and are qualified, experienced teachers.
